The Seminar & Debates Committee of the college in

collaboration with Red Ribbon & IQAC cell organized an interactive session of the

Chairman, Municipal Community Hajin and S. H. O. police station Hajin with

students of BG 4th Semester. It was an initiative under the public outreach

programme, ‘My Town My Pride’ to aware students about various social roles and

responsibilities towards the society.

 The interaction session started with a brief speech by the principal, Professor Pinu

Andrabi in which she stressed the need of organizing such events for developing

community centric awareness and making a lasting mark on the students psyche.

The resource-person, chairman Municipal Committee Hajin, Mr. Irshad Ahmad

Wani presented the outline of various developmental activities for reforming of

Hajin Town. Similarly, Mr. Kaiser Bashir, S.H.O. police Station Hajin discussed

about the chain of drug addiction, cyber crime and other crimes prevalent in society

and stressed the need for early redressal.

The programme witnessed the participation of various BG 4th semester students.

The students comprising of Shahida Akhter and her team presented a group song

while as Nazima Akhter presented an individual song. They also raised various

questions and participated in discussion related to how to develop the college and

town into a promising destination and better living places. The interacti session was

moderated by Dr. Fayrooz Ahmad Mir. While as Mr. Javeed Ahmad Raina Proposed

the vote of thanks.
